Full Moon

Tonight a total lunar eclipse will be visible over most of Europe and North America. It will start around 10:00 EST and continue until just before 11. We don't get another total eclipse unti llate 2010.

It should be nice and clear in our neck of the woods. If you can, get out and see it.

Thanks for the reminder! It rained today, but cleared up just in time for the eclipse. Took some pics, but didn't turn out as I'd hoped...

Ok, wasn't that the COOLEST?!
It was superbly clear here - and I had a great view from a Home Depot parking lot! :-)

Did you get to see the eclipse? It was gorgeous here in Maine, although too cold to stay out long, especially as we had a stiff breeze, brr. We had a great view from the backyard and through the skylight at the top of the back stairs.

Hi! I enjoyed visiting your blog today. May I ask what "future house farm" means? I just figured that there might be a story associated with it. Have a great day!

I'm in Northern California, the Sierras, and darn it, but it was too cloudy to see! So bummed.

We did get to see the eclipse--it snowed all afternoon and evening, but it stopped and began to clear up right at 8:30, when it started. By 10 it was totally clear. What a show!

Julie, "future house farm" is kind of a reference to the house that we theoretically want to buy or build someday. We rent right now, and whenever we talked about what we want to look for when we buy a house we'd say, "Let's get one of these at our future house..." That got shortened to just "future house," and then since we want to be able to grow lots of stuff, "farm" got tacked on the end.

Missing this was hands down the worst thing about being sick last week.

Rob, that stinks. Better mark your calendar for 2010 and tell the kids not to bring home any bugs from school, then.
