1. A crescent moon on a clear cold night.
2. Snow shadows. We got a light dusting earlier today and when the sun came out the only snow left was in the shadows of trees.
3. Good mail days. Today there were no bills. Usually that's all it takes, but what we did get was a coupon for tires ( the buggy needs some) and the winter issues of The Paris Review and Tin House.
4. I found something I thought was lost.
5. Graffiti with taste.

A crescent moon on a cold night: The thought makes me shiver in awe. Sometimes looking at the night sky is awe-inspiring, sometimes scary, but always a sign of grace, I think.
