Thief

We'll have a new garden just in time for planting time, so we started tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. In the 30 seconds it took for me to sneak into the seedlings' cat-proof room and arrange a photo, Lego ran in and stole a mouthful of marjoram. This tray needed to be thinned, anyway.

Wow, Lego has a sophisticated palate!...and a green thumb.

Cats are evil. That's why they make such cute kittens - they need to be adopted into unsuspecting homes.

He actually thought he was helping .. a taste test trial ?
All people owned by cats understand how concerned they are for our health ? LOL

Ha! I'm sure he thought you'd planted it just for him and then forgotten to show it to him. On the plus side, he didn't turn over the whole flat and spill seedlings and damp soil all over creation. Glad to know we're not the only ones with a Cat-Free Room!

I'm sure he just wanted to freshen up his breath before covering you with kitty kisses. That, or he was just trying to be helpful and thin them for you. I could use a cat to thin mine. I have a hard time thinning. I keep thinking- but it's still growing....
Good luck with the new garden.

Lucky that Lego only took a mouthful! I had a bird get into my house the other day... he found my tray of seeds and destroyed about half of my seedlings!
