Grace in small things #8

1. Growlers. I mean honestly, look at this thing, it's beautiful. We bought this particular growler when we first moved here and get it filled with something seasonal anytime we're in for dinner. Hell, this two liter gem is both reusable and local.

2. Meg sent a cover letter out today. She's been working on this one for a little while and I think she's pretty stoked with how it turned out.

3. I spent pretty much the whole day in my slippers.

4. There are a ton of skulls in our house. Between our Grateful Dead and pirate paraphernalia, there are more skulls than one could count without paper and a pencil.

5. A hot milky chai.

We just got a growler exactly like that (well different brewery). My husband likes to pick up a growler from every small brewery we go to. Eventually he wants to use them for his own home brew but first he has to organize the basement :) I think it will be awhile before he home brews. In the meantime we use one as a piggy bank and the one just like yours has my cork collection in it. (Eventually I'm going to do something with those corks...)

My father has a cup of milky chai every single morning and has done so all his life - such a great smell that has. He does 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water so the milk really comes through with all the spices. Delicious.
